How do you thank someone?

Posted: 11th November 2010 by Dip in DWH

There are never words to say what needs to be said strongly enough at times like these. Either that or I just don’t have them. I can thank someone for a kind word, support, help, money, whatever, but how do you thank someone for putting themselves between the evils of the world and your family? How do you thank someone who leaves home and family behind for months, years, or forever for the greater good of us all? How do you thank someone for the very freedom to read these words…?

……or someone willing to die so that you may live?

I don’t know the answer to my questions, but I challenge you all now…. to try. Leave no veteran unappreciated this Veterans Day. Not one within your reach. Forget the DWH signs, go thank each and and every veteran within your capability.

On behalf of Team DWH and all our friends we thank all the men and women of the armed forces past and currently serving.

You have all accepted the ultimate challenge.
